1979-1980
New Butter Factory Commissioned

New silos and a new automatic butter packer were installed. Butter production had doubled from 1,735 tonnes in 1968-69, to 3,544 tonnes in 1979-80. The new butter factory was capable of producing about 20,000 tonnes in a full season.
